Where can I buy individual dental insurance for a NY state resident
that will cover oral surgery for an adult tooth extraction as fully as
possible and will take effect immediately upon signing up for the
policy? (The resident is a female, 20 years old and not employed.)

Hi GoIcea

While this may not be full insurance, you might be able to join one of these
dental plans, cheaply, ($99 - $150) and at least get a reduction in the costs.

Speaking to an insurance agent last week, she was telling me that dental
insurance is expensive, over $500 per year and will not immediately
cover pre-existing conditions.
