The only subcompact model that I show Ford shipping in the U.S. is the
Festiva, a close relationship of the Fiesta.  That car was shipped
through the 1993 model year.

Though I realize that you may be referring to U.K. or European models,
the Focus was introduced in the U.S. in the 2000 model year.

Omnivorous, you are right.  The Ford Fiesta I am referring to is a 3
door Hatchback available in Germany & UK.
