I'd like to get some articles which need to be related to the
relationship of information technology management to overall
organizational management field.  More specifically, those articles
should be relevant to 1.) Placement of the ITM function in the
organizational hierarchy; and 2.) Major responsibilities of the Chief
Information Officer.

Some pointers, free of charge from an ex-cio :)

Where the CIO goes really depends on whether the company is IT centric
or not. If not the CIO will usually fall under the CFO. If it is, the
CIO will fall under the CEO or COO.
