According to this website,
http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/heuer/manuals/5100_auto_chrono/5100_manual.html#Front_Cover,
there are three detent positions on the Lemania 5100 movements (see
page 12).  The middle position (J) is for fast adjustment of date and
time on this timepiece. It may well be the same for your model. Try it
and let me know.
