is there a web site listing persons reported missing

There are many, but none of them list all missing persons from every
region. What type of missing person case is this (runaway, abduction,
juvenile, adult, etc) and where would the person be missing from?

is there a web site or sites or internet access to a listing either
alphabetical, or by entry,ie post a name and discover if that person
has been reported missing, when and by whom. seems like there should
be a .gov or law enforcement clearinghouse i've not been able to find
it. i lost cintact with a family living on a sailboat who are suppose
to have an internet page but i can't find that, spose thats another
question how to find a personal or family web page that might have
some mysterious title.the family is the leonards, lance lyndia and
julian, last i heard they were about to sat sail for hawaii from san
diego. from my search so far i've determed there is a lot of bogus
help availsble and that it would be easy to spend a lot of money
without relevant answer since most searches seem to focus on
individuals rather than family groups.if they didn't arrive in hawaii
they woild have been reported missing and if i could at least discover
that it would save some time, etc thank you hope that is sufficent
clarification. for some experience of my frustration goggle missing
persons and their names.

Hi there,

I am aware of many missing person sites, however if it is just a case
of losing contact with someone, a Google or phone directory search
would be the best way to locate them...

Missing Person sites
--------------------
A list of online missing persons searches and registries where you can
post details is here:
http://www.people-search-tools.com/missing-persons.htm

Phone Directory
---------------
Because their last known destination is Hawaii, try the Hawaii phone
directory. Just enter your friend's name and select Hawaii at this
site, to see if they are listed.

Google searching
----------------
You mention that they are supposed to have an internet page. If they
do, Google probably has it in its index.

Again, try searching for your friend's name and most likely location.
Make sure the person's name is in quotes, like this example:

"joe bloggs" hawaii

Best wishes,
