I have a made-to-requirements computer that ran on Windows 98. It came with a generic motherboard programming disc. When I look for the sound chip to reinstall it, I receive the answer "no on-board audio chip be found." The name that shows is GA-TUCD_12 when I enter the directory of the disc and click on the audio setup. Please help. I converted to Windows XP and lost the sound when I downloaded the upgrade for "Creative's Sound Blaster-Live! Value" or "Roxio's EZ CD Creator 5.0 Platinum." I assume the sound chip is Asian because of the English on the error message. | |
