We want an aerial cable car system in our city, so we are
investigating the economics, practicalities and so on.

Our city is a densely-populated, hilly city in Europe. The purpose is
for the transportation of tourists and local people.

We do not yet have a good idea about how extensive it should be - i.e.
we have not decided whether it should join just two points 250m apart
or whether it should be 20 times bigger. So we do not expect full,
precise answers to our questions. We are happy with answers based on
existing systems of any size.

How much do these systems cost? Figures preferably for initial
building costs and for maintenance costs (including staff).

Have any systems received grants from the government or the EU?

How long do these systems take to build?

Are there environmental concers?

Are there safety concerns?

Are many people afraid of using them?

How fast do the cars travel?

How steep can the cable gradients be?

How far can the distance between stops be?

You are asking no less than 8 questions here. Suggest either raising
Question price or splitting this large Question of many parts into
several, lower priced small questions.
