Charles Trenet, songwriter and popular vocalist, co-wrote a song with Guy Luypaerts called Pres de toi, mon amour, which appeared on his CD, The Very Best of Charles Trenet . I am looking for the words to the song. It is not among the 213 songs on his web site. I hope you can help me. Thanks. |

Hello ouy-ga, Believe it or not, I did find it on "Le portail des amis de Charles Trenet" ( http://www.charles-trenet.net/ ). The specific page where it is listed is: "Toutes ses chansons: P" Le portail des amis de Charles Trenet http://www.charles-trenet.org/index4.html#p If you scroll down to "Près de toi mon amour - 1940", and click on the link, you should get a pop-up window with the lyrics. Perhaps the difficutly you encountered was in looking for the word "pres" rather than "près" (that's what I did at first, too), or perhaps your computer is set to block pop-ups, in which case you should turn that feature off temporarily if possible. - justaskscott-ga Search terms used on Google: "pres de toi mon amour" trenet "près de toi mon amour" trenet |
