Please keep in mind that I am a novice at Access! I created a database to run my business using Access 97 and Win98. I transferred the database via my Intranet to a new PC running WindowsXP and can not see the dates. In place of a date as a label for example, I is see #Name? Instead of the date. I used =Date() when I created the database. If I put in =Now() it will read the date. But when I attempt to run a date based query I get the following message: Function is not available in expressions in query expression ((([ServiceTable].servicedate)=Date())) I changed the query expression to =Now() but it will not show any data. Any ideas? Please help. Mike MJ43016@yahoo.com |

Hi mj43016, You may need the following update: MDAC_TYP.EXE http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8e5f816c-4918-4250-b8bd-3794582c9089&DisplayLang=en Perhaps someone with more Access savvy than I have can verify that, but at least it's a possibility. Good luck, hummer |
