How can I use the Google toolbar inside the lotus notes web browser? How do I get my IBM Thinkpad Internet navigation buttons (down by the arrow key) to work inside Lotus Notes web browser? |

Unfortunately, you can't. Lotus Notes uses an embedded Internet Explorer component to handle it's Web Browsing, which doesn't allow any of the niceties that the external browsers do. You can however, configure Lotus Notes to use any other web browser on your system, and I would highly recommend it. Inside Lotus Notes, go to File, Preferences, Location Preferences, Internet Browser. Then change the preference to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Now when you click on a link, it will open up in Internet Explorer rather than inside notes, and you'll get all your Google Toolbar and navigation button goodness. Hope this helps! | |
