Hello, adamant:
Which CPU are you going to use? I ask you that to know the age of
the system, because in old systems you need to upgrade the flash bios
to accept hard disks larger than 32 Gb. You can also try to connect
the HD and if it's detected by the system as a 32 Gb HD, then you need
to update the BIOS.

Regards.

Thanks for the comment. The computer was rebuilt two years ago, and
FreshDiagnose reports the processor as Intel 656 Mhz. When connected
to the computer's USB socket the Lacie disk reports 74.51 GB. It
gives a benchmark of Write speed 0.89 MB/s and Read speed of 105.6
MB/s, but I think this is an error for 1.056 MB.
Regards, Adamant
