How many known cases of prosection have there been in the USA for flag
desecration? (Any info on actual convictions is also useful.)(I
already know of the most notable cases, I am looking for a broader
understanding.)

I've been looking around on anything mentioning statistics about flag
desecration, though I have only come up with total reported cases
(tried or untried). Will this be all right for an answer, or do you
really need only those that were brought to court?
