I am interested in sales figures for gold jewelry in the US. QVC (the
"Quality, Value and Convenience" TV channel) claims on their website
to be one of the "largest purveyors of gold in the world." According
to the National Jeweler website, a third of their airtime is devoted
to jewelry, and their total sales across all categoreis is reported to
be 3.5 billion. I am interested in how many dollars worth of gold
jewelry they sell and/or how much gold they sell in a year.

I've located QVC's gold sales figures from about six years ago.  I'm
sure that you'd prefer something more up-to-date, but perhaps this
information would give you a "ballpark" estimate.  If you'd consider
this information acceptable as an answer, let me know.

I am interested in a more recent sales figure, say 2002 or 2001 — or
even figures for the last 5 years that might show an increase or
trend.
