Hi Yakker ~

I think you'll find you'll like Win 2000 better than Win98 and that
you'll find it's much more stable than Win98 ever was.

The drivers for Win2000 on your HP Brio BA410 can be found on
Hewlitt-Packard's site here:

Click on the link for ğDriver - Graphics, and then check the box which
says, "hp brio ba410, Nvidia GeForce2 GTS video card driver for
Windows 2000" to download it.

The file you'll be downloading is "bdf648en.exe".

I recently upgraded a HP Pavilion from Win98 to Win 2000, and the
drivers provided for the upgrade by HP were much better than the one
offered on Nvidia's site.

thanks for the pointer. for some reason, after allowing the add new
device to install the driver by specifying the .inf in disk1 and it
prompting for disk2 and disk3, it did the obligatory reboot but had no
effect. the solution was to grab a driver from windows update instead
of specifying my own location. the driver at windows update wasn't
the exactly the one i was looking for but was good enough.
