What is the meaning of Life?

The meaning of life is largely what you make it. Many believe that
life is a result of biochemical evolution, and that it has no
"meaning" other than pure happenstance resulting from a biochemical
stew in our planet's primordial soup of an ocean.

"Life" as taken to mean contemporary human life, has an altogether
different connotation. "Why are we here?" is a common question. While
there can be no definitive answer, it is likely that we are animals,
biological entities if you will, who will fight to prolong our
survival both individually, and as a whole. For some people, this line
of questioning takes on a religious tone.
