Hello docv,
Although I have spent a number of hours searching, I have so far been
unable to locate an instance of a trademark of the name Serene
Progesterone. However, there was a U.S. trademark application made
several years ago for a Serenity Progesterone cream by a Florida
company. That application has expired due to the applicants failing
to respond to a Trademark Office action. However, the product is
currently being sold under that name by its manufacturer and through
several other outlets.
In addition, I did locate a U.S. trademark application for a skin
cream called Serene Cream, which is in process awaiting further
action. That application was made by a British company, but does not
specify that it is a progesterone product, only that it is a
moisturizing skin cream. There is also a homeopathic product for
women, also using the name Serene, though it too does not specify
that it contains any progesterone.
Other research into other products using the name Serene turned up
quite a variety of items ranging from screensaver software to pet
tranquilizers to hydraulic kneeling hardware to pillows and blankets,
but no instance of a progesterone product that I was able to locate
utilizing a number of different online sources.
If you would be interested in these results as an answer to your
question, please let me know and I will be glad to post them as such,
along with search strategy. If not, and you feel certain that Serene
Progesterone is the name of a product in use, perhaps another
Researcher may have better luck in locating it for you. Or, if you
have reason to believe a trademark may exist in a country other than
the U.S., perhaps you could specifiy which country(ies) in order to
facilitate what would otherwise be an extremely time-consuming process
in trying to search trademark registration in every country such a
search would be possible.
Regards,
Byrd
