I would like to know the best possible material to be used for cathod contacts - normally called "danglers" in barrel nickel plating operations. We are using presently SS3160, but the contacts themselves also get deposited with Nickel. We are looking for a "dangler" that will only pass current to the components being electroplated (which form the cathod). Please also find out if the shape - or sharp projections can cause this problem - norm, ally cylindrical danglers are used. |
