I would like statistics of hog farming in Canada (such as the total number of hogs, how many hogs per farm, how many farms there are, economic contributions from hog farming, exports, etc.) as well as information on trends taking place in the industry. |

Hi, N-P... I expect that you would find all the information you can comfortably absorb from the site of the Canadian Pork Council... http://www.cpc-ccp.com/ ...and from Industry Canada's "Strategis" website. http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/engdoc/main.html A thorough exploration of those sites will give you as in-depth an insight into the industry as you might wish. You probably will find that your own province also has a pork marketing board, which should be a good resource for you as well. Digging through these sites, and extracting information on your behalf, would unfortunately require far more time and effort than the $2 price tag warrants.
