I do not think that we can compare cultures or put a standered where
the status of women can be measured
simply you cant really use our modern (liberal school) standerds as
THEE standered, these cultures have thier own rules and standered,
when followed ever body is happy

Also in each and every culture women are the ones actually pass on the
culture from a generation to other, which makes them a very important
part of all the cultures metioned, mothers pass it on to thier children
with a clear message which include the man and woman duties and
responsiblities
in some cultures, women are stopped form going to school or getting an
education, the Idea behind that is :
thier culture is thier way of living, thier standered of right and
wrong, why do they need to learn something new ? Schools and Education
are simply a forign element which is trying to wipe out thier culture
hence: not acceptable
Therefore, women find thier postion by following the guide lines of
thier culture
so the importance and status as well as the postion of women in these
cultures is and will always be very important when measured by thier
own standered
But and if we put our modern standereds in order to evaluate women
position it will simply not work
Because in one culture a woman postion can be considered very very
important if she stay home to rasie the children.. why ? becuse there
is no other option and no better teacher, in this case the woman
status and postion within that culture is very important indeed
IF we apply the same to our modern world, that may be considered a
discrmination or anti woman devolopment, simply because in our modern
world we have more and may different resources and standereds

So again, I do not think there is a one standered to measure women
postion or stauts in different cultures, all the mentioned cultures
look at women as the corner stone of the socity and the women
thenselves accept the set cultural rules and duties and to them
success and importance as well as thier power comes from within the
success they achive by following thier duties and responsiblities
given to them by the culture in question

right or wrong, acceptable or not , it all depends on what standered
do you apply and is it the right one
