Question ID: 270453
I have seen a retail shelving system that consists of thick wood
parallel vertical members (approx. 1.5") and plug in (adjustable)
shelves also the same thickness. The shelves have built in MR10 or
MR16 quartz halogen lamps pointing downward from the center of each
shelf. This is a conmmercial system. Where can I find it?

Hi Puntyboy!

Is this the shelving you’re looking for?
http://68.15.21.151/uploads/researchers/shelving.jpg

- Two 20-watt halogen lights that direct light to each shelf below
- Shelves are 12 inches deep by 36 inches wide
- Available in Walnut or white finish

If this is the shelving you’re seeking, let me know through the
clarification feature and I’ll point you to the website where you may
order this product.

Thanks,
Bobbie7

Hi Bobby:

The shelves themselves are similar to what I am looking for, but the
system I want has vertical wood members, maybe 15" (probably different
widths are available) or so on centers and 10" to 12"(estimate) deep
with the shelves between them. It is a much more expensive system than
the one you found. Also, there is only one light per shelf located in
the center of the shelf so that the light illuminates the shelf below.
I have seen these at several high end retail stores, but I cannot
recall exactly where.

Puntyboy,

Thanks for the clarification. I'll see if I can find something else.

In any case this question will remain open so that another researcher
can try to find the exact shelving system you need.

Best regards,
Bobbie7
