I have a recruitment web site- I wish to maximise income through
allowing pay per click programmes on my web sites.
Can you tell me the best and most reputable ones there are that service the uk?
My web site is UK only. I feel that as our visitors are looking for
employment, only relevant adverts on job seeking will work. We have
built sections for banner adverts on our web sites and the click thrus
would have to work on our size restraints.
Please advise.

ValueClick, which I believe operates in the UK as well as other
countries, is pretty reliable and pays fairly well. It's tough to get
accepted though, unless your website is both high quality and has a
lot of existing traffic. I know Google has open the doors for
independent sites to participate in their AdWords program. The
publisher side of it is called "AdSense" and you should be able to
find it somewhere on their site. That displays text ads, formatted to
fit within typical banner sizes, such as the ones you see toward the
top of this page. I haven't actually used this program yet (my
application went in today), but it's Google, so I assume it's not a
scam. My friend said the revenue was pretty low, but I think that all
depends on what type of site you have. His site is a guitar site, and
yours is a job recruiting site, so the number and types of ads that
will appear on your site through Google will more than likely result
in higher revenue than he experienced.

Also, if you really want to make decent money and don't mind a few
not-so-intrusive pop-ups, check out Popupsponsor.com. Yes, pop ups
are annoying, but this company pays extremely well, and you get a
great deal of control over the frequency and size of the pop-ups. My
site receives around 20,000 unique visitors per day, each is shown no
more than one pop-up per three days, and I get over $30/day from this
site.

Hope this helps.
