Bobbie,
That answer is incorrect the census only lists florists that pay
employees I wish to know the total florists including ones who do not
have an employee to pay. That did not answer my question. If you were
to check with one of the florists wire services which I have just one
wire services has a total of 120,000 florists (Tela Floral)listed with
them and not every florists uses all the wire services. Try again if
you would like to. But that answer is not the correct one.

Dear Liaxian,

In your clarification you mention that Teleflora has 120,000 florists.

This is incorrect.

From the Teleflora website:

“Teleflora is home to the largest family of high quality florists in
the world – connecting over 33,000 members.”
http://www.teleflora.com/about_us.html

In the U.S. they would have a great deal less than 33,000 florists as
the number 33,000 is worldwide.

My answer to the second part of your question regarding the U.S.

Thank you very much for you help in this Bobbie, for the time you put
in researching. Your response time is excellent and this information
is apperciated and needed. I was at a loss other than the census
myself and I knew that wasn't correct or at least not complete. I hope
if there is a call for research in the future you will respond. Thank
you again and keep up the excellent work. And about the Telaflora
sorry about the missinformation on my part. For some reason my
thoughts on those figures were much higher than even 67,726.
Best Wishes to you,
Liaxian
