I am trying to get a J2ME application that does HTTP access to work on this phone. We can't get the midp app to initiate an http connection, we always get an IO exception 'Call setup failed'. I think its just not set up right even though I specify a WEB rather than WAP APN, but there does not seem to be any place in the settings to set the connection for Java apps to use. The user manual refers to a 'DNS IP' option on the Java Tools menu, but this option is not present on this device. In case its relevant, I am based in the UK, and my connection is with 02. |
