This is a - real - scooby doo web mystery.

I saw in infomercial while staying at Circus Circus Hotel Casino in
Las Vegas in Nov 15th? 1999, during 25th? yr Comdex convention. about
2 weeks later I tried to lookup info on the product on the web and
came up with nothing. I remembered this mystery, and now want to get
the answer, and the story behind the story. My girlfriend thinks I am
crazy and that I imagined the whole thing. Someone please help this
guy out, not just for my sake, but for the sake of guys everywhere who
have to say yes deeear, when they KNOW they are right! :)

This was for an orthodics product. The creator was I THINK, an
austrian OLYMPIC wrestling 80% sure OR weightlifting 20% possibility,
coach / trainer in the 50's or 60's.

I have searched google briefly, and came up zip.

I got home, and within a few weeks later, in 1999, I looked up on the
web for the orthodic product, and could not find ANYTHING on it.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did however find a newsgroup post from someone asking to get info on
the SAME orthodic product from same creator / (inventor had an
austrian sounding name).

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could try searching google groups back in Dec 1999, if you can go
back that far to get some more info. and then get the name of the
inventor, then the whole nut should crack open easily.

I would like to know the story of what happened that no info is
currently available on this product, or even several weeks after the
infomercial aired. nothing, nada, no website, no search engine hits,
nothing. IT seems very x fileish, especially being very near area 51.
This puzzle came about after speaking with my girlfriend recently,
discussing orthodics. So was this some marketing mavericks having fun
with Circus Circus guests, or does this person and product really
exist, and what happened to them, that there is NO info on web.

Sincerely,
Dazed and Confused
