I need the contact information to reach the publisher who has
authority to give permission for me to link to an existing page that
plays Kenny Chesney's song, You Had Me From Hello. The page is
http://members.aol.com/LoveSongAngel/YHMFH.html

I examined the page you mentioned and noted that it is very difficult
to determine the owner of the web site. Am I correct in my assumption
that you are wanting to kno how to contact the webmaster of this site?
Is this the person you are referring to as "the publisher who has
authority to give permission"?

If so, I can provide you with a name and email of the person who owns
and operates the web site.

tutuzdad-ga, yes, I would like to know who owns and operates that site
-- since they may be able to give permission to link to that page.
Still, I doubt that they have authority to give permission for other
uses of the song, even if they themselves got permission.

Therefore, I was also hoping to get the contact information for the
publisher of Kenny Chesney's music, who likely own all use and
distribution rights. They are likely the only ones who can give me
permission to play the song, and publish the words, on a page of my
site.

As I said, I can provide you with the name and contact information for
the person who operates the site you indicated who can authorize you
to like to that privately owned site. In order to obtain permission to
publish the lyrics and play the songs however would likley result in
an agreement to pay royalties to the publisher.

Would you like me to (A) post the name and contact info of the site
owner as an answer or (B)unlock your question and wait to see if
someone can help you get in touch with an authority who can authorize
you to use Mr. Chesney's songs?

Dear spunk-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question. Oddly enough, shortly after I posted my last clarification
request I actually found the information you are seeking and I am
posting it here for you as an answer (please disregard that last
clarification request by the way): Here goes…

ABOUT THE WEB SITE YOU MENTIONED:

Using the many links on the page you mentioned, I clicked on the link
entitled “ALL ABOUT ME” and subsequently ran across this notation:

“Hi, my name is Angela”
http://members.aol.com/Angelhopes/hopes.html

Using the link ANGEL’S HOMEPAGE I found the name of the site owner
about ¼ way down the page under the heading “MISS YOU IN HEAVEN
ABOVE”:
http://members.aol.com/AngelDDD/index.html
(Note this is still part of the same site you mentioned because all
the exact same links appear here as they do on the main page)

This site called MY WEBRINGS is also a linked page to the main web
site (you’ll find it near the bottom of the main page). Here, a little
more than halfway down the page, under the heading “THE ANGEL HOPE AND
LOVE SITE IS OWNED BY”, you will find contact information for the web
site owner (which I hesitate to post here without permission, even
though it is being made public by the owner herself).
