Hi,

I need help with finding a Spanish class in Northern D.F., ideally at
the Universidad La Salle or the local UNAM campus (the name is
something like Ac...an).
It should be beginners level and meet on Saturdays or on Saturdays
plus one weeknight.

Why do I need your help? Because my Spanish in fine for survival but
way too bad for navigating web sites or -gasp- calling people and
asking.

Muchas gracias,
C

Hello,
I did some investigating on your behalf but have so far failed to come
up with a solution that meets your requirements. LaSalle Spanish
classes meet on weekdays only. I did find this website, which may be
of some use to you:
http://www.embamex.de/general/esc_espanol.html#Mexiko-Stadt
Also, as far as I can tell thus far, the best known Spanish language
schools in Mexico seem to be in cities (Guanajuato, Cuernavaca) other
than Mexico City. If I come up with a viable solution for you, I will
post it as an answer.

Hi,

I actually eliminated UNAM-Acatlan myself today (plucked up my courage
and called) - they also didn't have any idea as to where one could
find a class that can be combined with a full-time job and life
outside of the in-crowd areas of town, and with no car either.
If you came across anything that's doable, I'd not just be grateful,
I'd actuall have a fighting chance in this country! :-)
