If you know anyone who is an expert on computers/high-tech electronic equipment, ask them to recommend a local shop that sells/has miniature cameras that you could place in 1 or more rooms (that would not be readily observable by the average person) that could do surveillance on the entire room giving you a video tape copy or digital film copy catching the thief in the act, or a local private investigator could also tell you where to get this equipment, also sometimes called a "nanny-cam" because sometimes there is a need to catch dishonest nanny's mistreating children--same concept. Do you have anything valuable left that you think this person would be tempted to steal again? 4KEITH (I'm NOT a GOOGLE Researcher) |

Before you buy the hidden camera, check with the local police department or online to see if this juvenile has a prior criminal record. |

Get a webcam and a free download program from supervisioncam dot com. The program will only record when movement is present. Just remember to cover up the red or green light on the webcam. Hide the webcam in the room and just sit back and wait. Then confront your child and the thief! |

I don't know that police would readily give a juvenile records away , by just asking , i think they are that way because the are under 18 and they are sealed. But yeah get some equip , but relize your son gets his sense of judgement from his parents so prepare yourself in the case your are wrong, i ve been in many a situation like that and its not fun, but everyones gotta face the music, so let us know how it came out |

Place a hidden camera in 1 or more rooms (that would not be readily observable by the average person) that could do surveillance on the entire room giving you a video tape copy or digital film copy catching the thief in the act. This equipment is sometimes called a "nanny-cam" because they are commonly used to catch dishonest or abusive nanny's in the act. I strongly suggest that you "bait" a trap for your suspected thief. Place a valuable item in a location where the suspected thief will locate it easily aim your camera at the bait. PROSECUTION |
