Hello

I have found nothing to suggest this company is legitimate.

All English companies must be registered at Companies House in London,
but there is no "Link Finance and Trust Ltd." in the directory on
their website, which you can search here:
http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/info/

====

I called the number you gave and found the phone is answered with a
message in an American accent, saying "This number is not in use".

(This was calling from within the UK, so the exact number I dialled
was 08452 807546.)

====

The website 'linkfinandtrustltd.net' was registered a few days ago by:

"Frank Lobster
38 Ralston Rd
Atherton, CA 94027

....

Creation date: 10/22/03 "

There are further contact details available if you search at:

WhoIs

You may also be interested to know that this lottery would only be
legal if its profits were going to a good cause:

"There should be no commercial, for-profit lotteries," according to a
UK government webpage.
http://www.culture.gov.uk/global/publications/archive_2003/law_prize_com_statement.htm

I hope this will help you make a decision about your "winning lotto
ticket".

Best wishes - Leli

As well as using the Companies House website and doing a domain name
registration search, I looked in a UK phone book:
http://www.bt.com/directory-enquiries/

Google searches for the name, address etc. only turned up near misses!

This is a great answer, well worth my money, and exactly what I was
hoping for. Many thanks to Google and its researcher for a job
superbly done. Shlomo P. Neuman, Regents' Professor, University of
