Hi - I would like to obtain a video of an ice hockey game that I
attended many years ago, one that various internet sources list as one
of the 'best' ever played. Game took place on December 31st, 1975 in
Montreal between the 'Montreal Candadiens' and the 'Soviet Red Army'
teams, ending in a 3-3 tie. Have noticed sites willing to trade but
not sell the video tape. Am interted in a very high quality video
tape, dvd, cd, etc that I can purchase - where can I do this?

I looked for a DVD of this game for you but unfortunately I never
found one.  Nor could I find a site that had one for sale, just as you
said.  I did find highlights of the game at NHL.com here:

might want to watch, but it's no substitute for the whole game.

Fortunately, with a bit more digging, I did find someone who sell VHS
tapes of this game over Ebay.  He appears to offer them regularly, and
currently has one for sale ending November 3.  The link is here:

The same seller sold one tape of this game on October 26th, and
another on the 30th, so my guess is that he has a number of them or
makes copies that he sells.  While I can't speak for the quality of
the video, he has a 99% approval rating with 987 feedback comments, so
it seems that others have been quite satisfied.

I hope you get this answer before the auction ends, but if not you may
wish to contact him to ask about other copies.
