Hi, blokje-ga:

It would be helpful if you gave an example, possibly a simplified one,
of the sort of conversion you have in mind. The phrase "for 100% use
in DB2" suggests to my mind that you would like the results to be SQL
scripts, perhaps stored procedures, that run "in DB2". But likely
such a conversion would depend on a number of design decisions beyond
the scope of an automated conversion.

The best hope might be to settle on some architectural design points
that make the overall approach to conversion clear, and then see how
much of the conversion could be "automated" with tools that you are
familiar with. On that note, why not clarify the kinds of programming
and development tools (languages, editors, etc.) which you are most
comfortable with? This will increase the chance of getting practical
suggestions.

Dear mathtalk-ga,

In the meantime we have been intesively been discussing this matter
internally, and came to the conclusion that we best stop the complete
project untill some competitors have done it before is. We prefer to
be a follower instead of bein first-to-markte.

I apologize for your time untill so far...

Kind regards,

blokje-ga
