I would like to know if it would be legal to import music CDs, DVDs and Computer games from the United States or Asia, and distrbute them from a shop in Ireland to Irish customers, and if so where would i find the cheapest distributers of these products. Are there national rights given to distributors for each country to distribute these items. I have purchased music CDs from www.cd-wow.com and noticed that they send these Cds from Hong Kong. There is currently a case been brought against them by the BPI as shown in the following link. http://tinyurl.com/7hnq Would the case above affect every country as currently purchasing these products from irish suppliers wouldn't allow me to sell them at a fair price suce as cd-wow. |
