What laptop has the best battery life? prefreibly something full
laptop size since it would be something i would be programming on but
it doesn't matter how old it is! well mostly... I don't want to have
to wait 5 min for a program to compile.  The cheaper the better
obviously dont' forget about battery costs and life span.  Many
laptops have space for 2 batteries.  a built in CD-ROM and USB is a
plus.

Best on battery life I have seen are systems based on the Transmeta
Crusoe chip. However, they have not been too widely put into systems,
although they would have a decent amount of power for what you would
need to do.
