Dear coarc,

I beg your pardon, but I don't understand the question, I'm afraid.
Could you please specify what exactly you want to know?

Regards,
Scriptor

Good day Coarc,

I'm assuming by western world, you mean North and South American,
and Europe. There are hundreds of areas with a population greater than
250,000.

United Nations Demographic Yearbook - Capital cities and cities of
100,000 and more inhabitants
http://www.un.org/Depts/unsd/demog/index.htm
The above United Nations site has statistics on all cities with a
population greater than 100,000. To navigate, you'll have to click on
the continent in the world map. A list of countries will appear, and
you'll have to click on the country you want.

Indicators on human settlements
http://unstats.un.org/unsd/demographic/social/hum-set.htm
The above United Nations site has percentage of urban and rural
settlements for each country, in case you are looking for ratio of
urbal to rural.

I hope this answers your question. If not, please request for a
clarification and be a bit specific...like which particular
countries/cities you want, and what information exactly you want.

the answer I received is not appropriate.
I will to clarify.

Urban Density is the ratio of persons to sqare km. or to square mile or to
hectare,
in an urban area, i.e. a city or town.

Western World means to me : North America and all Europe.

Cities and towns have to be bigger than 250,000 people.

The area has to be Urban and not rural.

Thanks for your support and help,
Nahoum Cohen

Are you looking for a cumulative density, or do you want the densities
of each and every city individually?
