Dear tashaman,

I found a number of websites with summer camp databases, all easy to
search.

CampPage - A Guide to Summer Camps in the United States and Canada
http://www.camppage.com/

SummerCamps.com - Search for Camps by Country, Price, Religion,
Gender, Age
http://www.summercamps.com/

Camp Searcg - The Summer Camp Search Engine
http://www.campsearch.com/

Search terms used:
"summer camps": ://www.google.de/search?q=%22summer+camps%22&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&hl=de&meta=
"summer camps" search:

Hope this helps!

Dear tashaman,

I forgot to add the searchable database of the American Camping
Association (ACA), featuring all ACA Member Camps:

ACA - Finding A Camp
http://find.acacamps.org/finding_interest_areas.cgi

I apologize for accidently not including this database with the
original answer.

tashaman-ga, your rating doesn't seem very fair to me. How ELSE would
you get such a database? You should rather have clarified the question
instead of rating it.

Suggestion: Specify in your question the criteria of what you are
seeking, and let the answerer do the trawling for you. It is a
time/effort versus convenience thing. Ultimately, that is what we do
here.

hi tashaman-ga

poor rating for the correct answer that scripor-ga gave. why didnīt
you request a clarification ?
hope you aggree with me.

I think the researcher should be able to rate the questioner.

so nobody knows then?! or are you too busy worrying about your
ratings?! the question is either answered or not, its quite simple
really. if you dont have anything better to do than bicker like women,
i suggest you all put some energy into the world cup, like the rest of
the world is doing!

I don't think you can conclude that nobody knows. Perhaps you can
conclude that nobody wants to give you an answer, though. That's just
my opinion, of course.

If you want your researcher to continue to work on your question, you
need to post your clarifications as clarifications, not as comments;
and you also need to refrain from giving him a one-star rating before
he's had a chance to respond to your clarification.

Once you give a one-star rating, the chances of anybody trying to help
you get a lot lower.

tashaman, the reason people are upset about low ratings is that if a
researcher gets too many low ratings, they will basically be fired by
Google and not allowed to answer any more questions. It would be
nicer to just say, "That isn't what I was looking for, please try
again." Also, the first site given, http://www.camppage.com/ is not
really a search page. You just pick if you want a camp for boys,
girls, or coed, and it lists them alphabetically with all their
information. This seems to be exactly what you are looking for. If
it's not, please explain what you mean by "database" and be more
specific about what kind of answer you are looking for. I'm sure
scriptor will be happy to find it.
