I'm looking for the tip or simple software that can do following
thing:

1. Connect my note book (Windows XP) to normal phone line by using
modem port.
2. Let my notebook dial to other location.
3. I can use the notebook's microphone and speaker phone to
communicate with the one that I dail to.
4. In case of dial in, I need my notebook be able to pick up the phone
manually and can talk to that people.

Is there any way to setup my XP to do the this thing? Or Is there any
free or cheap software that available in the market?

My objective of this request is just want to have a teleconference
call to normal phone line by using my notebook.

Thanks in advance,
Skon L.

Does your laptop have a voice modem installed? If not, would you be
willing to consider a hardware solution? (Note: A hardware solution
would probably be more hassle and possibly more expensive then buying
a speakerphone.)
