I am trying to debug a simple helloworld.aspx (with.vb) in VS.Net
2003.

I keep getting the following error

Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the
web server. There is no managed code running in the process. In order
to attach to a process with the .Net debugger, managed code must be
running in the process before attaching.

I'm running MS XP Pro-IIS 5.0-.Net 1.1-VS.Net 2003.

There are no .config file errors because when I run the page without
debugging (Ctrl+F5), the .aspx comes up fine in the browser. Debug
attribute is set to true both in the web.config and in the Page tag.

I have looked extensively through Google but havent found any
solution so far.

FYI: I went to Debug->Processes and tried to Attach the aspnet_wp.exe
to the Debugged Processes list. An "Attach to Process" window pops
with a checkbox list containing the Program Types I would like to
debug. When I check CLR and Script and press OK the same error:
"Unable to attach to the process. There is not managed code running in
the process. In order to attach to a process with the .Net debugger,
managed code must be running in the process before attaching."

I've seen a few people trying to fix this error on Groups through
global remedies like reinstallation. I gave that a shot too;
reinstalled VS.Net(repaired) & .net framework. Ran aspnet_regiis -i.

I would like to pay for solution which works for me. A one to one
email tech support is also welcome. Thanks a ton.
