How can I find and review and/or __print__ ship manifesto for SS Finland Oct 1923 (arrival NYC) minimum info the sponsoring brother's name and address in Nashville TN, What is the next step /resource to trace that brother further? My father's EIDB entry is under MARVIN FRIEDMANN, arrival SS Finland, Oct. 10, 1923. The brother's name is/was Mordechai Friedmann, I believe. I don't know the next steps to take. He isn't listed under that name in 1920 or 1930 census records. I know people change their names at citizen times. Sometimes I have found info the Jewishgen. eidb using the search all, but sometimes not. please let me know if you need clarification. | |

PS - At the site I gave you above http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi click on the Advanced button to add additional search parameters. If you do that and add "TN" {without quotes} to the last residence, you'll see other Friedmann names in Nashville. You may be able to find their relatives through searches. Best regards and good luck in your quest, journalist-ga |
