I need to locate where this quote comes from: "The anachronism of duration corresponds to and is superimposed upon an anachronism of space. To endure is to be present, and to be present is to be present to things distributed in a sort of time-space. Thus the human act by which the mind becomes present to any group of images at once local and temporal very often possesses the character of an incomplete, incongruous creation, as of things, says Supervielle, "which are not made to go together." | |

Sounds like a french literary critic discussing a movie "mind becomes present to any group of images at once local and temporal" although the local would argue for a live performance. |
