Tutorial with exercises:
?Each chapter includes a step by step guide through the functions
covered in the chapter and the ideas are reinforced with exercises
based on the same concepts.?
?Chapter 1 - introduction to the concept of word processing--creating
a simple file, saving and printing, copying and pasting.
Chapter 2 - formatting text such as changing font type and style. This
chapter also covers text alignment, margins, bullet pointing and
numbering.
Chapter 3 - footnotes and page headers and footers. Other tools such
as spell checking and the importing of pictures and spreadsheets are
also introduced here.
Chapter 4 - tables in documents. The exercises cover creating tables,
changing row height and column widths, as well as borders and shading.
Using templates is also covered in this chapter.
Chapter 5 - drawing tools which Word provides. This includes creating
resizing, adding text, page orientation as well as sections and
columns.?
