Can you help me find a recording, either tape or CD, of a musical selection entitled "Gate City March. Composer is A J Weldon and one of the songs on this selection is "Maryland, My Maryland". My friend who is trying to find this music says he first heard it over 30 years ago and I have heard parts of it online. I think "Dixie" is on it, too. The only mention of Gate City March for sale is for a piano roll which, of course, we can't use. Pinkfreud has helped me before and if she's musical, she might like to try this one. Hello again, CalamityJane! The CD "Golden Age of the American March" contains "Gate City" and many other stirring pieces, as performed by the Goldman Band. At Barnes & Noble you can listen to an audio clip of "Gate City" to verify that this is the correct piece of music. The clip has a portion that features "Dixie," and also "Swanee River."
