Let me know what the URL is and I'll check to see if it's a valid URL
for you. As long as you're connected to the Internet, have proper
DNS, and valid URL there are very few reasons why you wouldn't be able
to connect to it. Thanks

From where do you click on the URL. Is it from inside Explorer, from
inside word or another office application, or from within a diffrent
application all together. I'm pretty sure nothing's wrong with the
link itself, but rather with the way the application or OS handles the
fact you clicked on it.

Does it happen when you are in Internet Explorer and not connected to the Internet?
Or when connected?

Well, I know how to solve this issue (pretty sure). It happened to
one of my computers when I tried to click on a link inside an email,
it didn't work... When the default browser gets "corrupt" all you
have to do is this:

1. go into internet options via control panel
2. click on the programs tab
3. check the check box at the bottom labeled "Internet Explorer should
check to see whether it is the default browser"
4. click ok
5. restart
6. open up IE, and click "yes" to make it the default browser

try and click on a link somewhere to see if what i said works... I'd
be interested myself to make sure i'm right. ;)

Dear marv,

Is this a riddle :-)

Answer: You are already at the URL ie the link directs you to your
current page.

More seriously, it is possible that they have an unusual configuration
of their webserver that doesn't redirect you to an error page.

Without the link, it is difficult to give you a definitive
explanation.

Use Clarify Question option and I think you'll get a better answer.

TO CAPPABERRA:
Thanks for your suggestion. However, I could'nt perform item 6.
There seems to be no question posed when I open IE.

When I examined Properties of IE I found only Juno and NetZero listed
as browsers and NetZero was the default. Could that be the problem
and do you have a fix for it? ...Marvin...
