In my town, Stoneham, Massachusetts. There is a gas station that has
closed down, and it has been painted entirely blue, the entire
building, blue. I think I've seen another former gas station painted
solid blue. What's that all about? Is there some law/policy/protocol
that closed gas stations need to be painted blue?

We also have a "blue" gas station where we live. When it closed down
last year, it was painted entirely in blue, (A sort of Smurf blue)
with high chain link fencing around it. Odd.
