Mailing service in-and-to German firms: I wish to purchase the service
of executing a commercial mailing to some two hundred firms located
in Germany.

I will provide the piece to be mailed, a postcard approximately 4.5
inches high by 10 inches long,
and I will provide the list of two hundred target addresses. What I
wish to buy is the service of printing one address on each postcard,
affixing the German postage stamp, and depositing the two hundred
pieces into the German postal system.

What firm(s) will provide this service?

It will be helpful for the researchers, if you can tell them of your
current location.

Thanks.

Clarification of my "current location": Friday Harbor, on an island
four days' hard travel from Seattle. Doesn't matter. We are print
brokers who have not
seen the face of a printer, nor of a customer, in more than ten years.
Half our market is in the two cities of California; another half is
the salt-water-coast running NE from DC, and the third half is even
more distant.

What's wanted is a nice German mailing house.

Hi TGR,

thanks for your question.

Here is a mailing house that is part of 'Deutsche Post', the German mail service:

https://www.mailingfactory.de/mailingfactory/Index.po

You can actually provide all information including the postcard
motive, layout and addresses over the web and they will print the
cards and mail them out for you.
The printing is 600dpi, four color, laminated (motive side only), on
250g/m3 card stock.

Example:
https://www.mailingfactory.de/mailingfactory/postcard/info/Beispielmailings_postkarte.po;mfsid=PWn4OdWyngJsWAdKvvh9RH5k?uid=1068070301500

Here are the prices:
https://www.mailingfactory.de/mailingfactory/postcard/Index.po;mfsid=iLhZrZcYzbuvvDIuicIC_QZe?uid=1068069357531

For up to 1000 pieces the printing is 0.55 Euro/piece and
0.45Eur/piece mailing cost. Including 16%mwst (German VAT), your total
would be 232Eur. You can pay by Credit Card.

If you have trouble with the German web page you can also email them at:
mailingfactory@deutschepost.de and hopefully they'll respond in English.

Thank you, Morgenlandfahrer: this answer seems a success and I will
be eager to explore it before closing the question, as I will hope to
do in a day or two.

It would seem at first un-likely that I would take the option of
inviting the mailing factory to create the printed piece (note, in my
first clarification, that we are print brokers, thus the printed piece
must be of astonishingly high quality to support our message) --
but I am glad to learn of the phenomenon to explore.

Hi TGR,

thanks for the excellent rating.
Yes, Deutsche Bundespost is a big burocracy, not unlike US Postal
Service, and their reaction might be slow, or they might not offer
English customer service (I know they do for massmailing, but that is
much higher volumes).

Right on target, Morgenlandfahrer, thank you. Two responses came in
English from Germany but not any response from Deutsche Post itself
(themselves?)
