Question ID: 272927
Can anyone get any info on Sir Frances Millward/Milward, reputed to
have married Lady Augusta Susanne Sheen-Carter. Maybe 1720-1760 (ish).
Expected to be England. Trying to get his family descent. Help needed
from someone who can fly the Internet

What information do you already have about these persons or others in
their families? Anything at all might be helpful: names, dates,
places, sources of information you've consulted, etc.

Thanks justaskscott; sad to say this info came from a 'family tree'
hand drawn out some time ago by one of our family members. No dates on
it. No place on it.
The 'Sir Francis Millward' is 7 generations back from someone born in
1916.Hence I think he was about 7x25=175 years before 1916 =1741 give
or take a lot. I am trying to work my way back through the named
descendants which are Sir Francis Millward> George Harry S Milliward>
George Clive Millward> William Douglas Francis Millward> John Millward
(who I have the descendancy from already). It just might be easier if
someone can start at the top of the tree.
Tried English Biographical Dictionary, tried a bit of Burkes. I hoped
it might fall out quite easily, but Google is struggling, and I have
much experience of corrupt info. on the IGI. Over to you!!

I am not a google researcher. However, if you go to
www.familysearch.com and select International index in the menu. Fill
out only Francis Millward and the country-do not fill out spouse or
any of those other items. You will pull up the multitude of Francis
Millwards and can begin to cull through those. If you put in
information that may turn out to be incorrect it will lead you to
nowhere often. So just use the names
good luck
