Our Google university search does not work. We have a very old domain
name, www.broward.cc.fl.us, which all of our results are listed under,
although we have been using www.broward.edu for years now. We have
been doing 301 permanent redirects to the new domain for 6 months now.
Recently, at least our home page was indexed, but nothing below it
seemed to have been crawled. Even under www.broward.cc.fl.us, Google
claims only 14 pages. At one time we had over 300. I guess to sum it
up, the question is why does Google not properly index our website?
We have followed all the advice offered by Google, such as submitting
the site to dmoz, using the 301 redirect, waiting, etc. all to no
avail. |
