I would like to find used sailboats in the category of a sun- or sail-fish or smaller. I want them to be in the $300 price range for a good (no cracked glass), sailable boat. The boats for sale should be within an hours drive of *either* northern Virginia OR Ocean City MD. Finding me a used boat in CA isn't a solution. ebay just doesn't work. |

Hi there Evinda, You can save yourself a heap of money by learning to do fibreglass repairs. Most retailers and even the manufacturing factories will advise you on materials and methods. I once swapped some chipboard for a 12ft. canadian canoe and a 19ft. kayak, both in need of repair. One week later I was able to sell them for close on $500. and they were properly repaired and recoloured. Its not that hard. |
