Aileen is the name of a clothing co. based in the state of Texas( I believe). I
need to find them. Where are they, what is their address and
telephone No. I have what my broker calls worthless stock, I need a
stock certificate. It may be worth something someday.

Hello Abner ~

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Aileen, Inc. (which at one
time operated over 100 retail outlet mall stores), filed for
bankruptcy in 1994 and was declared bankrupt in 1995.

The stores were sold to pay debts. Some of the retail stores were
allowed to keep and use the name Aileen, although they are no longer a
part of a national chain.

While it is highly unlikely you will be issued a stock certificate,
your best bet would be to contact the attorney who represented them,

Again, I'm sorry about the news, but I suspect this is why your broker
said the stock was "worthless".

Hi Abner ~

Thank you so much for the rating and the tip. That was nice of you to do!

I'm so glad you didn't want to shoot the messenger! And you're quite
right, unexciting content, and I feel bad about Aileen's. I used to
enjoy their store where I live.

Thanks again,
Serenata
