I have launched a small business, basically as a sole trader at the
moment selling, installing & programming office communications
equipment. telephone systems, building wiring, network cabling, small
networks that kind of thing.

I need to learn the correct manner in which I should keep my books for
tax purposes etc. My turnover is well, well below the threshold for
compulsary VAT registration just at the moment.

Can you find me a selection of free online basic tutorials, suitable
for small traders in england, which will be suitable for a beginner to
accounting to understand, including clear instructions on specifically
which record-keeping books I should purchase.

In the abscence of any good quality free tutorials, I might consider
paid or subscription sites, but only if the content is top-notch.

Thanks, feel free to ask for clarification.
