Hi there,
The track in question is indeed called "Quiero volar contigo", which
in English means "I want to fly with you".
It is by a group called Los Tigres Del Norte, who are based in San
Jose, have made 30 records and 14 movies, and won a Grammy.
I listened to song and it has the lyrics you quoted. Fortunately they
are not an obscure band, and buying their CDs will not be difficult.
Why is it not played as often as before? In my opinion it is just the
nature of popular music. Hit songs have high rotation when they first
come out, and then disappear to make way for new ones. If the song is
a classic, Spanish radio stations that play classic hits might play it
sometimes.
