What is the eye color of  Green River Gary Ridgway?

Despite an extensive search via Google and other search engines, and
an on-line news database, this is the only description I could find.

According to an on-line magazine article, in 1983 Detective Bob Fox
from the Des Moines, Washington Police Department described him as
"slender build. Green eyes. Brown hair and mustache. Mid-30s. About
155 pounds."

The description appears reliable judging by a photograph taken of Ridgway in 1982.

I scoured for about an hour and found two images that I unsuccessfully
tried to enhance using my primitive graphics skills.  I thought they
looked like a different color. I am unclear. Please clarify.

I referred you to the images as the only corroboration I could find
for the reliability of the description in article. The description is
certainly correct for the subject's age, hair and build. The image
from 1982 is a little unclear as to eye-colour but that unfortunately
is the problem with this photograph and photography in general. Is the
colour of the eyes in a photograph truly representative of their real
life colour? There are many factors which can influence the appearance
of the image.

following the links from there.
Otherwise I think we must rely on the description given by the detective.

I suppose the question was more nuanced than I thought.
Thankyou for the pointer to corbis-though I think I have seen the
web-rendered mug shots they inventoried.

with color reproduction.

I agree with answerfinder-ga that the detective's description is
likely to be more reliable than photographic images. Color photographs
often depict subtle colors differently, depending upon the lighting
source, the kind of film used, the colors of the background and
surrounding surfaces, and the manner in which the photo is processed.
Add to this the color distortion that can arise during the digitizing
process that enables a photo to be displayed on the Web, and you have
a wide range of possibilities for error.

My eyes are green. However, I have several photographs in which they
appear to be blue, and in one photo they look brown.

A report from someone who actually met Gary Ridgway is far more likely
to be accurate than guesswork from a photo.
